The person behind the app

Made by Bryan Wrinkle.

I build My AFib Companion under the name BGW in Nature. The aim is straightforward: make personal records easier to keep and bring to an appointment.

What I can help with

I write about the app, keeping personal records and using phone and watch features. I am the developer, not a doctor. I do not offer medical advice or interpret your personal readings.

How this site is supported

The app is supported by subscriptions. The website’s guides, blank worksheets and fictional sample report are free. An app mention on a guide is a mention of my own product.

App Store links include an Apple campaign label for aggregate acquisition reporting. This website does not use browser analytics or advertising trackers. Read the privacy policy for how app records and subscriptions are handled.

How I prepare content

Technical claims about the app are checked against its implementation and public listing. Health and Apple Watch explanations identify primary sources where used. Original examples are labeled fictional. Publication dates and substantive updates are shown on guides.

These pages have not received a clinical review. A link to Apple, the NIH or the American Heart Association does not mean that organization has endorsed the app.

Corrections and support

If a page is wrong or a feature has changed, email bgwinnature@gmail.com with the page link and the detail to check. Please avoid sending health records or sensitive personal information by email. One person reads support messages; allow a few days.
